This recognition is dedicated to the memory of an outstanding AAC camper, Ben Tobias. Ben was a camper for 4 years and his love of camp and enthusiasm for his fellow campers grew each year. Following Ben’s death in 2010, the Board of the Adventure Amputee Camp created this Recognition for a camp participant who exemplifies the characteristics which were so wonderfully evident in Ben.

This recipient exemplifies the following characteristics:

Willingness to do anything to help the camp flow

Consistent cheerful and friendly attitude

A leader, role model and mentor for others
